Task

Online Store. Modern website of electrical products on the basis of an outdated catalog.

Within one month we transformed a "fossilized catalog" into a modern site with "correct" modules. Simple and reliable solutions, as well as the pleasant design increased sales of electrical goods.

Objectives:

Create a full online store for selling electrical goods on the basis of the old site. The main conditions of the client were following:

-The presence of a shopping cart for pre-ordering;

-Possibility to save a list of viewed goods for easy and quick search;

-Administration panel for editing and uploading content: photos, video and text;

-Website database integration with 1C  (trading system) to keep track of current prices and stock levels.

Let's mention that the given set is standard when building an online store. The main difficulty lies in the engine upgraded site and the level of its age.

Solution

During the work on the site we used the latest technologies, namely HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP7 and Mysql.

With their help the following features were developed:

The Admin panel for working with the catalog.

Shopping cart for sending selected products to the 1C (trading system)- to create an offer and a reservation of products.

List of viewed and recommended (similar) products at the bottom of the site.

The product card with a list of goods and prices of the entire line.

In addition to this, we integrated the site with 1C (trading system)- to display the latest prices.

The Result

We have optimized the work of our managers by automating several business processes. The usability of the website has been significantly improved as well as the speed and quality of order processing. The conversion and the average check have increased due to the lists and the shopping cart.
